Spanish Voices Condemn Moroccan Abuses in Western Sahara

“Spanish political parties on Wednesday condemned the Moroccan occupation’s human rights violations and the plundering of Sahrawi natural resources in Western Sahara, calling these acts a flagrant breach of international law.”

Alfonso Lucas Muñoz, Secretary General of the Communist Party of Murcia, currently visiting Sahrawi refugee camps with other political and social organisations, condemned Morocco’s serious human rights abuses in occupied Western Sahara and its treatment of political prisoners. He called for their release and reaffirmed his party’s support for the Sahrawi people’s right to self-determination, sovereignty, and control over their resources.
